English Language Arts Proficiency: 3rd Grade, Economically Disadvantaged

This indicator measures third-grade reading proficiency by county for students who are identified as economically disadvantaged. Oregon Department of Education defines “Students who are economically disadvantaged” means students who are eligible for free or reduced-price school meals.

Why is this important?
